Re: cascading 2 M-AUDIO Delta 1010 PCI
Macs don't have PCI slots anymore; the only ones that do are PPC, and they're not supported by 8.03 and later, and not supported by 9 at all.

Re: cascading 2 M-AUDIO Delta 1010 PCI
I used to run 2 Delta 1010lt's on PT M-powered in XP 32bit. It wasn't supported - but it worked.

Re: cascading 2 M-AUDIO Delta 1010 PCI
whoever said that the driver 5057v3 would work in vista..
ive just tested this with: vista 32bit (sp2) windows 7 32bit (original) while i was able to load m-powered 7.4 and see all channels from all cards the 5057v3 driver (or other older versions such as 5052, or 5051) didnt work at all pretty much with any program. I believe the original guy said he was using Vista Business.. I dont think that vista will work with any of those old xp drivers as of sp2 and possibly sp1... im going to try to do another install of the original non-service pack release of vista... and see if i can get the driver to work. basically all i got on sp2 (and win7 32bit) was digital noise on the outputs.. no real sound.. so the drivers were obviously not working... and i had tried many different versions.. using macrium reflect to restore the original clean os drive image in between attempts at different driver versions. (which works amazingly i might add!) |

Re: cascading 2 M-AUDIO Delta 1010 PCI
ive tried every possible combination to get this to work..
it just doesnt work with vista .. ive now tried both SP1 + SP2 of Vista 32bit.. and they both are a no go unless the key is the bnc wordclocking.. all im hearing is digital feedback static with the drivers that allow ptmp7.4 to launch (5051, 5052, 5057v3) the other drivers (5065, 5069v3, 5074, 5076) work fine, no digital feedback static sounds... normal operation, but m-powered doesnt launch... it comes back saying DAE -6006 .. it will only work with xp + the 505x series drivers... if anyone knows how to make this work with vista or 7.. please share that info.. i will try to get a bnc cable to do proper wordclick sync and see if that makes a difference, but based on the fact that i cant even play any sounds normally thru vista with this driver.. i just dont understand how i could be getting these results and the person on this thread had faultless operation.. not fair whats the secret? |
