http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/home...-on-their.html
--- they say, for example tubetech cl1B is AAX DSP -- is that right?

Re: Avid Quietly Launch A Pro Tools Plug-In Finder Page On Their Site
...and why is Melodyne listed as AAX-DSP? I'm pretty sure that it isn't. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Avid Quietly Launch A Pro Tools Plug-In Finder Page On Their Site
Could it be that these will be DSP and announced at NAMM, and Avid jumped the gun a little by publishing it?

I'm afraid it doesn't look like it.

Maybe not. Could be they will do native AAX and just not do DSP. 'twould be a shame as I love Melodyne... Edit: Methinks I may have missed the direction of this thread.. lol

Re: Avid Quietly Launch A Pro Tools Plug-In Finder Page On Their Site
Why would anyone even expect an AAX DSP version of Melodyne?
They never had a TDM version. I'm sure they'll port to AAX Native.

Well it could be to keep them in competition with autotune.

Re: Avid Quietly Launch A Pro Tools Plug-In Finder Page On Their Site
We did announce it on Twitter, Facebook, and linked it from the AAX Plug-ins List, but things can always be louder.
Thank you for pointing out the errors. I'll forward them on to the team. |
