Default NOISE & MULTI card HDX systems.

MULTI card HDX systems.

1xHDX seems fine, 2xHDX fans go crazy, 3xHDX is a coin toss.

in an effort to deal design a solution - something AVID seem unwilling/unable to do.

I've been reverse engineering the HDX cards. first t one if temp sensors etc were an issue, then to see if potentially there are a HUGE batch of faulty HDX cards out there.

So what I can now categorically state - without fear of libel is that there are ceramic caps used on SOME boards of the same batch - that do not comply to stated - required- tolerance.

between cards of the same date / factory / rev etc. interlayer grounding planes have notably different metallurgical balances.

I might be wrong, but I've got a simple question.. is your card GREEN or BLUE??
