Default Bus or Buss

Not that it really matters but... which is the correct way to call it?

Oh, it matters!

Bus. Short for omnibus bar, or bus bar. Plural; buses.

There's really no need for a second ass...

Buss is a brand name of a fuse manufacturer. So I have always interchanged them, but bus is correct technically. I don't see any reason to get bothered by it one way or another, it's not really confusing anything to add or lose the "S".

Buss.

And Micheal Brauer uses Buss. Enough for me.

I know what it means and it's a rare occasion I ever write the word, so how its spelled is mere semantics to me since when used in context its meaning is obvious.

The bigger question, is why does Avid insist on using the term VCA when they know darn well that there's no analog circuits in the design of their implementation of said device? They should call them DCAs, like normal people (i.e. Yamaha) do.
