Cool. If anyone wants to pick up a used mix 24 system for cheap (while everone moves to HD), then we can run XP! Digi has finally made the big change to 100% XP support! I love it! Pro Tools LE 5.3.1 and 5.3.1 TDM for PT 24 & MIX systems did not rev, but the increased testing involved with developing the new release of Pro Tools 5.3.3 for HD systems also involved more intensive testing of XP Home and Pro on other systems. Basically, for LE systems, all that really means is that both XP Pro and Home are now officially supported, and future development will involve testing on both:

Compatibility Documents Change History

September 13, 2002 Revisions Consisted of the Following:

Added Pro Tools 5.3.3 compatibility information for Pro Tools HD Windows Systems (shipping today and available for download from the web next week)

Added Windows XP Professional & Home Edition official qualification for Pro Tools|24 & MIX Systems with Pro Tools 5.3.1. Previously only Windows 2000 Professional was officially qualified.

Added Windows XP Professional official qualification for Pro Tools LE Systems with Pro Tools LE 5.3.1. Previously only Windows XP Home Edition was officially qualified.
