Ahhh, ok. Now I see what you were saying. So, basically, I just need to a cable with a 5 pin MIDI connection and I should be able to connect the Radium 49 to my computer without any drivers and such?

Yes; I used to do it that way when I ran mine.

Alright. So, I bought a Mio 1 in 1 out USB to MIDI cable today. I connected the in and out to the Radium 49 and the usb to my computer. The good news is when I'm in the Midi studio window, mio shows up. However, I am lost beyond that. I have Midi Thru in Pro Tools selected and everything, but I'm still not getting anything. No levels, no nothing. Any idea what's going on?

What are you trying to trigger with it?

If you make a new stereo instrument track, open xpand2 (or mini grand etc..) in an insert slot, record enable the track and play your keyboard does it make sound?

Nope. Doesn't make any sound nor does it register in the levels meter.

Have you also selected to use first selected MIDI instrument?

Not entirely sure what you mean.

Here's what it looks like in the Midi setup. The Radium 49 shows up (I think; it's the mio device as the cord I'm connecting the keyboard to my computer is a mio), but not sure where to go from there.

Use first selected MIDI instrument is part of PT pref in the MIDI tab

Now I know what you're saying. Yes, that's how I have it in my preferences.
