Default ATT DIGI: Will RTAS EVER Have Multiple Outpus?

When Kontakt and MachFive are released in RTAS format, there will no way to route different patches to different outputs under the current RTAS setup...this is completly insane. It means multiple passes to do drums, orchestras, etc. The idea that you can instantiate the amount of plugs that you would need to in order to do this is not feasible.

Will there be a solution to this?

Hey Tom,

If your computer is fast enough you can have multiple instances of RTAS plugins on seperate tracks. For instance, with sampletank you could launch 2 and have keys on 1 and drums on another.

Not the best way to work but it is possible.

I assume that when rewire is implemented you'll be able to do the kind of routing you want with rewire compatiable programs (reason, live)

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">The big sample libraries would never work with multiple instances. You would need 50 g of memory. Really. The huge ones, Vienna, the new orchestral thing from East West, even loading Steinway B and other Giga samples into Kontakt, and then trying to have multiple instances...wouldn't work. If there is no solution to this I may be moving to Logic to cut tracks, I'll be forced to...
