TC releases VSS3 Reverb for Pro Tools
Take a look.
http://www.tcelectronic.com/ It's TDM and runs on HD or HD Accel hardware. That's a good thing.

Absolutely!
I´m interested in the upcoming NonLin2, but probably not if my tc tools and MegaReverb just "fade away". Peter

Re: TC releases VSS3 Reverb for Pro Tools
Yeah, the VSS3 is a really sweet plug, have used it on the PowerCore until now, and just got it for HD..
The best sounding non-convolution reverb to my ears and pretty adictive... Great to finally get System 6000 plugs for HD. Sorry to hear TC is not offering an upgrade option for the Tools users, you should really try to write to them to change this.. |

Re: TC releases VSS3 Reverb for Pro Tools
TC Electronics makes some nice stuff, but it's hard to trust them. TC Tools seems gone for good now. They vanished for some time a few years back, but then reappeared.
I don't know. If you really want TC Electronics algorithms, it's probably best to bite the bullet and buy the stand alone hardware. At least the hardware won't disappear from your studio the way their plug-ins do. For anyone that buys their new plug-in, it would make sense to print tracks with processing before archiving sessions. If you ever need to return to the session, you really won't be able to count on their plug-ins being functional on newer hardware. Lee Blaske |
