Can't create Avid Community account

Hi there

Sorry for posting this here, but I don't know where else to. I am trying to join the forum for Avid Media Composer, but I am unable to create a new Avid Community account. Every time I try, I get the following error message:

There was an error executing your request. Please try again.

Is anyone else getting this error? I have tried different browsers, different user names, different emails... nothing works.
