Buses missing from Key-Input!

I'm at the last stages of mixing a feature. Trying to duck the music with dialog at some spots. When trying to send a copy of the dialog bus to the key input of the compressor I discovered that no buses are available as inputs for the compressor's key input (side-chain input that is)!! Interface inputs are available, but buses aren't! I'm using plenty of buses in this session as track inputs and sends so I doubt that it's an I/O setup issue. Also, it's not a plug-in-specific issue since all plug-ins that allow for key-input have this problem, regardless of maker etc.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

System specs: PT 9.0.6 , Macbook Pro 2.66 i7 8G RAM, Integrated I/O: Mbox 2 and MOTU Traveler.

I was having this same problem, and then, a moment of clarity. I'm going to venture a guess that you only have stereo buses set up in you I/O Setup>Bus window. Go ahead and add some mono sub-paths for at least a few of those buses and you should be able to select them as a key input. It seems that even multi-channel dynamics processors can only look at a mono bus as a key. Hope that helps,
