Default How to export all details of a project beyond AAF?

Hello - are there any 3rd-party or internal tools that will export every single detail of a Pro Tools session, in addition to AAF and exporting session as text, like what plugins are on which tracks and the plugin settings, routing, panning, busses, auxes, sends and levels, every rotten little detail for future reference?

The desired outcome is to rebuild a session/mix in the future in another DAW if needed when there is no access to Pro Tools and/or the original ptx session. Not necessarily automagically rebuild it, but starting with the AAF files, re-add the plugins to each track and set the settings, busses, sends, mix levels, etc.?

Thank you!

Default Re: How to export all details of a project beyond AAF?

As much as I'd like to think someone--some programmer?--sees the need for a fully detailed exporting function for any/all DAW's for archival or transfer purposes, here's the best I can come up with:

1. Export session as AAF - Advanced Authoring Format File
2. Export session as text
3. Screenshot the crap out of the rest! Plugins, routing, edit+mix views, etc.
4. Bounce mix revisions to WAV & MP3

HTH - Hope that helps someone...

Eric
