ProTools takes 5 minutes to Launch

Launching Protools is taking anything up to 5 minutes, and then opening a small track with, say, 3 audio, 2 Instrument etc takes over 1 minute.
It sometimes happens to open normally,but 8 out of 10 times it happens as above. I've loads of power, Mac 2x2.26 Quad core intel Xeon
Ditched pref's and defragged until I've blacked out.
Any ideas???
