Default Plug-ins for Tsunami Help. PLEASE READ!

Hi folks,

in the other forums some dedicated guys have already mentioned it so I take the turn and do it here:

As a very satisfied user of the Elemental Audio plugs I recieved this:

Quote:

Like you, we at Elemental Audio Systems have been saddened and touched by the Southeast Asia Earthquake and Tsunami that continues to affect millions of our world. To support relief efforts, we have implemented a program to match all customer purchases in January with a 50% donation to the American Red Cross (http://www.redcross.org) - see below.

====================
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
====================
The program is simple and involves no additional steps, money, or costs to you. After you make a purchase in January, we will make a donation, in your honor, to the American Red Cross of at least 50% of the purchase price. To find out more details about the program or to make a purchase, visit the following link. Again, donations are made without any additional cost to you.
http://www.elementalaudio.com/cgi-bi...pl?l=12&c=9513

We are working with you to lend support to those in need...

So if you ever considered to buy some of those (technical flavor/ mastering) KILLER Plugs,

NOW is the time do yourself the favour and help other in the train of it.

thanks and best

yeah, maybe they have the best intentions. sorry about that. I am just always skeptical of those using tradgedy to plug themselves (no pun intended). just like the US. we couldnt just send money, we had to send our military to "police".

My first impressions of this was that if they wanted to help, they would be humbled and modest and just help. instead of.... "for every dollar you spend, we pledge 50% of it"

my bad. please accept my apologies.

HI seekerian,

it´always a hard decision to "do the right thing" even when "just" trying to help.

And for me: this event made me donate more than I would have donated otherwise.

It was the "perfect excuse" to buy the plugs. You see as selfisch and greedy as I am, it DID soemthing good and I felt it was right. (since I owned Neodynium already, I only could buy the EQ Bundle)

best

Couldn't agree more. If you want to help the victims, give your money directly to the red cross or some other helping organization.

Huh?

You totally missed the point of it.

If YOU want to donate any amount of money directly, go ahead!!!

But EAS want´s to help, too, so they are giving 50% of whatever they earned in January which would usually be spent for their aliving and feeding their families.

But it´s always the same: NO MATTER what you DO, some people will always feel pi**ed off.
