Huh? Stand alone and VST are kind of at crossed purposes. Are you after a stand-alone GUI or a VST GUI? Why would Avid do a VST format plugin based GUI?

Avid still need to deliver the promised Pro Tools 11 compatible UI, that will presumably be an AAX-64 plugin within Pro Tools 11. Whether Avid ever has plans to support a stand-alone software package has never been confirmed. It might well be that if Avid every does a stand-along GUI it may be the AAX-64 plugin wrapped with a stand-alone run-time package.

I use it for volume and wah basically. No program changes b/c I do not use the 11R live.

Anyone tried a Line 6 Floor Pod Plus? I checked CC midi mapping and everything should work with 11R out of the box. Guitar plugged in 11R and Line 6 midi out to 11R midi in. Should worked as a backup too.
