Default Second Monitor with MBP and HD Thunderbolt?

So ... I won the Sweetwater October giveaway which included an HD Thunderbolt, Omni I/O, Euphonix Artist Mix, and a ton of sweet plugs. I worked in post production for years and have recorded/mixed music for myself and friends. I have PT10 "not-LE" and I would have never sprung for an HD rig ... so this is truly a blessing.

This is my first question, but it will not be my last

I'm running a MacBook Pro and I'd like to use a second display. Is anyone successfully running something like this LaCie hub along with an HD Thunderbolt?

TIA!

This won't solve your problem as there are only two TB ports on it. One connects to your MBP, one to either the HD|N or the external monitor. All it does is give you access to external SATA drives.
AFAIK there isn't a device yet with more than two TB ports on it.

Yup I realized this soon after posting

I picked up a USB-to-DVI adapter. Hoping that will work alright.

I'm having the same issue. How did the USB adapter work for you?

Not good bro. Finally got around to installing it today and no dice. It appears that my mac recognizes the monitor but the screen in blank black.

Appears I may have gotten a defective adapter. Will post back when replacement arrives.

Yup, first adapter was defective. OWC shipped out a new one and voila I have dual monitors AND my HD native rig up.

Sweetness.
