Komplete 5

I have just received the Komplete 5 and will install in next day or so!!! exciting.. However I read that Battery, AK Piano, Elec Paino and maybe even Kontakt are not compatible with PT8 LE cs3. Is the issue with Digi or is it with NI. Either ways the end user suffers.

If this doesn't work, then one would be compelled to go back to Logic do the midi and come to PT8 with bounced wave files and start the mixing process.. which would be a painful work flow (actually a workaround!!!) I know some of us would say.. focus on music and not worry about this...

can someone please clarify and help. thanks

I'm using most Pro53, Kontakt3.5,AK,EP,B4,Absynth and FM8. They are working without problems here

I'm running PT 7.4 and just starting using Komplete5 apps.

Some of them open in PT in Demo Mode: Absynth, Elektrik Piano, Battery

Anyone know how/why this happens?

From the reading I've done here it sounds like the compatibility issues are with PT 8...

i have komplete 5 also and it seems to do some weird things on my system. absynth, fm8 and pro53 do just fine. kontact, battery 3 and massive sometimes have problems so i have stopped using them when i found out they were not compatable. waiting on digi an NI to fix it. dont want to chance my system messing up. i have had enough technical issues already. but i bought komplete 5 (although i didnt check compatability first...my fault) for kontact and battery 3 primarily. have to wait and see.

Both Battery and Komplete 5 are not compatible with PT8?? This sux. I have both of them. I have not opened them yet. Maybe I will take them back to GC and exchange for something else. I don't mind giving up Battery, but I was looking forward to the synths from Komplete.

Guys, go to the NI site and checkout the updates.

Kontakt 3.5 was released a week or so ago that addresses Leopard and PT8 stability issues.

Battery 3.0.5 is in Public Beta which again remedies the above mentioned issues.

It pays to stay on top of the latest updates. :)

It took them a very long time, yet all but the Pianos (Elektrik & Akoustik) have now finally been updated and are compatible (Battery in beta).

Note: You can use the libraries of the Pianos in Kontakt 3.5.

Service Center is still a pain in the ass. Authorisation may make you swet. Check the NI site for directions and support. You may also need to reinstall the machines (use custom installation, uncheck the libraries) if the whole Komplete bundle does not show up in SC.
