Avid Mojo DNA on Asus P6t Deluxe V2?

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there are any PT Win users here who happen to be using an Asus P6T V2 motherboard with an Avid Mojo DNA attached? I'm getting instant -6031 errors when trying to play video out firewire (via the Mojo).

My next step is going to be trying a PCI-e firewire card as there may be a compatibility problem with my board's built in controller (VIA).

Just thought I would post here in hopes that someone out there might have any insight to share.

UPDATE:

I just installed a SIIG PCI-e firewire card and the Mojo is working perfectly. All -6031 errors are gone.

NOTE: Today I discovered that I got better performance using the alternate "legacy" driver for my onboard firewire but the -6031 errors would still pop up (just less frequently). Maybe one day, a driver update might make it work?

Traditionally the VIA FW chips have been hit or miss with PT. Mostly misses. Glad to hear the SIIG solved the problem.
