PT 10 HDX crashes every time Elastic Audio is used

Elastic audio works as expected for a few minutes, but any session utilizing elastic audio will crash and quit unexpectedly every 20 minutes UNLESS I commit the audio and turn off Elastic.

Sessions without Elastic work like a dream for hours uninterrupted.

Sorry was in a rush when I posted that - Running PT HDX 10.3.5. On OSX 10.8.2 with a Mac Pro 2 x 2.93 with 64 GB RAM.

Tried repairing permissions, no change.

Hi,

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled pro tools to refresh the program files and re-install the plugins? This would be the first thing to do and also trash prefs before reinstalling.

I am almost in the same situation : Pro Tools HD 10.3.8 crashes on any sessions utilising elastic audio.
No problems on sessions without elastic audio

Last week my system was PT 10.3.8, Complete Production Toolkit with a Fireface 400. And it was exactly the same…

I repaired permissions, trashed PT preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled PT. But no change.

My OSX disk is an internal SSD, and all the other disks (soundbanks and working disks), are SATA internal.
