xpand2 problem

hi,

when trying to work with xpand2 i've found that there no presets in the channels.
there are presets in the preset directory in the control window of xpand2, but i can't get any sound ... when i push on the "part" space of each of the channels to choose one i get "none"... am i doing something wrong ?

Usually you see a warning that there is no content file. The name and extension is xpand2.big

Do a search for that file. Check your other instruments too. They all use the same extension........boom.big etc...

hopefully, you'll find the file and be able to point the instrument to the directory.
There is a default location possibly in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\DigiDesign\Xpand2

i checked it, everything is in place, the rest of the instruments works fine but the xpand2. also, re installing didn't do a thing ...

all the files of the instruments are in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Avid\Avid Virtual Instruments

other ideas maybe ?

I downloaded that file into the Windows 7 download file so how it got in there I will never know... Hi.
Running PT9.06 on iMac/osX 10.8.5
Had this problems in weeks now. Tried the following:
1. I browsed to the Digidesign/ProToolsCreativeCollection. Xpand.big was grey. Sometimes it worked just to locate the file. Sometimes not.
2. Reinstalled the ProToolsCreativeCollection. Didn't solve it.
3. Totally reinstalled PT9+ Updates9.06. Didn't help.

Can anyone help?

whenever i open xpand2, it changes the dialogue box and display to a very small version. i dont know how to correct this can anyone help? it is as if the screen resolution is getting smaller every time i open xpand...
