Default Quantizing Audio Tracks (Drums)

Is there any way to isolate each individual transient within a percussion track, so it can be quantized? (other than they obvious method of going in and editing each hit one at a time)

The fastest way is to Enable Tab to Transients - hit Tab to get to thenext transient - hit B to break the audio region at that point and just keep going Tab..B..Tab..B. It is surprising at how fast it will go. Then select all regions and select Quantize Audio

Didn't I hear there was going to be a Beat Detective LE with the rollout of PT 7?

Not sure what you mean by rollout, but PTLE already has beat detective.

Beat Detective is TDM only as of now. PT7 is really PT6.7 and it is supposed to have a 2 channel version of beat detective. If you have 13 tracks of drums, it could be a bit tedious. We'll have to wait until the AES.

Yep TDM only. I use Tab to Transient to help me select a perfect loop, then Identify beat to get the tempo of that loop. Once that is done you can use TBT again to chop up the file like Cliffy said, then go into Grid mode and easily move things into time according to the grid, or you can quantize easily too. That works well for me.

Right, I think there's a confusion between beat detective and "identify beat".

Your right. I did get it confused with Identify beat.
