need help with live setup

i am producing a show that is based on Protools and Rhythm section , my current setup is (since i did not wanna take My HD system) a Macbook Pro and an Mbox Pro - i use only 4 outputs - L & R for Playback - out3 for Click and out 4 for special effects and solos coming form the computer .
i have managed to run 2 first shows with Zero problems - glitches or sudden errors.... knock on wood , but i am planing to get a second system for backup.

i need some advice and explanation about this syncing issue... what are my options if i get a mac mini with a second Mbox pro , how would i be able to run both systems at the same time , What are the risks , what are the benefits.... what should i do , i really don't want to make a CD backup using L for PB and R for Click....

yet i don't know if the system is bullet proof and i can't take the risk that the system will stop during the show
