So you're basically sayin the problem Im having shouldn't be happening right? Do you ever have this issue or does it run smooth for you?

I haven't sequenced with pro tools for a long time, so I might not be able to help, but here goes....

1. In pro tools, What do you have listed in your midi menu for input devices?

Can you show us a screenshot of your bidule setup and your pro tools midi tracks?

It's got to be a simple routing problem.

Problem Solved. Yes, it was a simple routing issue in Bidule.
I had my Bidule wired to my Trigger Finger and Oxygen MIDI Controllers thinking that was the only way to get the VST to receive MIDI notes.
I deleted those connections and everything was fine.
I can now move to INST2 and it won't play INST1.

Thanks for all the help guys.

Not if you do this

o under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PlogueBidule add a DWORD value named
o ReWireDevice.PTFix
o set its value to 1

Then again, even though it stopped the crashing, it still doesn't work with PT very well. I can't even seem to get some nice playback going and it's all dodgy so i deleted Bidule which was a big shame.

I was actually thinking of VE Pro. That's another and apparently better option.

Helpful thread here.. Hoping these general principles for Bidule into Rewire in PT work as well for PT9.
