Default Default-paths in Protools

I have a couple of stupid questions I guess.

Protools seems to create audiofolders, and fades-folders for my sessions in Leopard, on a different HD (Tiger), then where I actually save my templates (Leopard HD).. Also BFD makes a default folder in the documentsfolder for keymaps and those kinda files, instead of using the original folder wish is within the BFD-folder (for audio, keymaps, grooves etc) Could this be because I´ve opened the same session, in Tiger and Leopard?

Second question. Is there a good way to create monotracks out of stereotracks without bouncing?

Thanks in advance!

1. Check the PT Disk Allocation (under Set-up menu). It sounds like you need to change this to the desired HD and re-save the session template.

2. You can 'drag' a stereo track onto 2 (adjacent) mono tracks and deactivate (and hide) one of these.

PS: The L and R side fill eachother out. They both sound lame by themself. I´m recording from cassett to make a cd out of an old band.

I guess I have to record in mono then....

Or bounce to disk and select mono (summed).
