It's been a show stopper for me. Literally. I'm in the film industry. Pro Tools op on sets.

Too many AAE-6101 errors.

Running a 2014 Mac Mini with 16gb of ram, using a Keith McMillen K-Mix and an Antelope Audio USB Zen Studio as an aggregate device, internal system drive and an external SSD (HFS+ journaled) for sessions.

The machine has OS 10.14.6 OS, the Pro Tools 2019.10 install from the site, no 3rd party plugins, and Logic installed on it. That's it. It's meant to playback a 2 track most of the time. MAYBE record a vocal sometimes.

The rig does have some crazy RF devices though. I'm transmitting audio to a few sources with power in the 250-300mw range. And much of the gear around me is streaming full video signal as well.

System used to be stable until 2019 install. Then all my systems went to poop and cannot get through a song more often than not. A simple 2 track. But Logic on the same rig, with the same routing works fine.

I was able to setup at the home or studio with 2019.6, but .10 has even blown that. 6101 errors at least daily. If in RF environment, it's most of the time if the track is more than 20 seconds long.

I have a bit of a theory that there has been some changes to the buffering to be able to have continuous play, and that has opened a window for more RF interference.

That's great news. Of course some ADC issues are due to plugins not reporting proper delays, but that's on them to repair.

Yes true. But the plugins I'm using did not work before. Now side chain is perfect in sync. Been waiting years... :)

Sorry, the same error messages as described previously.
I tried after updating my system* to Windows 10 home 64 bit Version 1909 Build 18363.476 and reboot (of course). I downloaded Pro_Tools_2019_10_Win_RevA_106297_ from my AVID Master Account site, unpacked and launched the "setup", NOT the "installer".
Or must I go via Avid Link this time?
I do not have very much faith in AVID mending the issue. If this isn't fixed before Nov. 21st, 2019, I shall definitely disrupt my subscription and leave PT not working.
I am too old to be endlessly patient.

I'm noticing a slightly odd issue in the import session data window when you try and put in an offset for the incoming tracks. (In my case I was importing an OMF)
Usually when you select just one section of the time code offset eg. the 2 digits representing minutes, then use the up own arrow keys (or mousewheel), it would change the minutes value with each click.
Mine is now cycling through the frames value regardless of what I highlight.
Inside ProTools you can still select and adjust the individual values for TC through the spot popup etc, just session import seems to be misbehaving.

Dangerous question to ask... I'm on 2019.6 now and its working very smoothly in Win 10 Pro, and very occasional use on a macbook pro running Mojave. Is it pretty safe to update to 2019.10? There are a few minor features it would be nice to have, and this week is a breather week before I'm at the coalface with it again for the next few months.
