Help with Audiosuite Gain

My Audiosuite Gain (Protools LE 7.0) output stopped writing back in place. It does create session data but I have to drag it back in which can lead to finger problems.

Did I accidently hit some option which prevents Gain from writing back in place?

I've tried 'tweaking' many options however I am not an expert on Protools and I don't want to mess something up even worse.

Can anyone help please.

I initially tried finding some user doc on the plug ins to try to resolve the problem myself however I was not able to find any.

Yeah the Digi manuals are not the greatest when it comes to looking up how to do something specific.
