Default 6.7 upgrade policy

I dont have my receipt, does this mean i definately dont qualify for a free upgrade? could i send my credit card statement? Ive been trying to call digidesign but whenever i call i get the answering machine telling me their normal hours. this is frustrating.

If you have sent them your regestration card I suppose they can see when you bought your hardware there...?

Here's what I find pretty sad, you get the update free if you bought new hardware on or after September 25. Wow.. a whole month of updates for your new hardware.

Also, let's not forget also that if you do qualify, you need to have the 6.7 form filled out and postmarked no later than November 25th or you're out of luck.

I bought my 002 a while ago, but if I were a recent buyer I'd feel pretty underwhelmed by the customer service. Just my opinion.

Its ridiculous, I bought my 002 at the end of August and now I'm out of luck to update to 6.7. There is NO WAY in hell I'm going to pay money for a point release. Since they aren't showing any signs of being more leaneant with the upgrade policy, I will just wait for the 7.0 release, which will probably be worth the money. Besides, did they even add Hyperthreading support in 6.7?

I'm mad because I don't get a new version of my car every year.
Or my house.
I mean, the builder ought to come over and put an addition on for free, right?

This pat response is so tired. Read their posts... they're complaining about a few months at most, not a year. MANY software companies include a year of updates with the purchase of a license (in this case a piece of hardware). Digidesign is effectively double-dipping. It is a legitimate complaint.
