Default Nerve versus Transfuser

Russ Hughes has put up a show and tell review of Nerve from Xfer records and Steve Duda. It looks really nice and easy to use. But it doesn't seem to have anything feature wise that isn't in Transfuser that I can tell. Has anyone compared the 2? As nice as it looks, I can't see spending $200 for something I already have basically.

Which? Nerve or Transfuser?

Nerve. From that demo there doesn't seem to be enough variation and a little on the static side. Transfuser has more punch and groove than that. Or maybe it was just those presets in that demo.

Possibly. However, you can load in your own samples and kits. I was focused more on the features for creating grooves and such. I think you're right that Transfuser has more "punch" to it. If you have Transfuser, you don't need Nerve too. Also, Transfuser alone is the same price $199, for anyone who doesn't already own any of the AIR Instrument Expansion Pack, and for $299 you get the entire AIRIEP of 7 VI's, which is a great deal.

Nerve is, I'm sure, a fine instrument. But for the money, you get as much or more with Transfuser with the ability to upgrade to an additional 6 powerful VI's!
