Default Looking for electronic producer to help with a couple techniques

Don't know if he still does it, but Deadmau5 would often live stream from his studio for hours on end, showing various production techniques, and doing live Q&A via Twitter etc.

I'm sure others do it too (I vaguely recall what's his chops - Corey Feldman goes EDM - doing something, though that may have been a one off).

You're basically asking for 1 on 1 tutoring, with the added complication of it being remote.

These days, that's the sort of thing that people would hope to turn in to a revenue stream, rather than give away.

You may get lucky, and find a handful of contributors, each willing to do a one off on a specific topic, but I doubt you'll get someone who's willing to do it regularly, and to a schedule.

Good luck though.

To add my 2 cts to the discussion; I understand the need underlying this question perfectly and sometimes I feel the same. The tutorials easily overlook that tiny little thing that one may just have a blind spot for and you can only play/stop the youtube video every 3 seconds which is awkward. A platform as described here above would intercept those issues and you can perfectly have all your questions answered and your blind spots opened up.

BUT- any producer who has, through years of labor and inverstments gained the skills to qualify for such job, would be crazy to do this for free IMO. But I haven't checked the links here above. Amagrass provides some blissful tutorials that are splendid for me but that may not be the case for someone with different questions and different experience.

I myself could greatly benefit from a platform like this. By the time I decide to step into such, I'd first of all check the links above (for which thanks).

Hey Chistopher - The website you reference is Cymatics.fm, not Cymatics.com.

People who would refuse to do this without compensation are not the people I want to work with. Someone above just said DeadMau5 does this for hours on end. Probably the biggest and most successful edm producer. I don't do this for money people... and if that's what your focus is then your music is second hand and I don't care to learn/work with you. I'm not asking for 1 on 1. I want to get multiple people together who share a common interest and have each other benefit the group. If all you're going to do is comment on this thread that the idea is stupid or it won't happen without money then please don't comment at all. You aren't adding anything to this discussion.

On the contrary - those people who make the comments you don't like ARE adding to the conversation. Contrasting opinions that should be heard. From time to time I'll do pro bono audio work but most of the time I expect to get paid at least enough to buy beer and pizza; of course I'm not against making money honestly. People who value their work charge for it the same as software developers. Remember that free advice is worth what you pay for it.

If it was actually containing content, but to say why do this for free when I could do it myself? Please explain to me what that contributes to the OP? I'm looking for people who are interested. Not people who aren't

I could potentially help you but why would I want to work with (for) someone who doesn't even take criticism without running to find a justification.. BTW mod, I don't see why my post was deleted.

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't know what criticism I received and I am not sure that I ran from anything. However I sure this is still not helpful for what this thread is about.
