Hmmmm... I haven't purchased Ozone 9 yet, but iZotope pushed an update for Relay and Tonal Balance. Maybe that's it.

It's not Ozone 9, although I too had installed it recently. I can fire up Protools, launch no projects and exit. It still comes back up a 2nd time. Conundrum for sure.

This happens here also. In the event viewer, the crash references ucrtbase.dll which is a Windows Visual C++ runtime file. So basically any plug/module/etc written in C++ could be causing the crash. Another side issue of this is that it creates crash dumps every time you exit PT so there could be gigabytes of dumps accumulating if you don't use a cleaner app. Check here for files: C:\Users\~yourusername\AppData\Local\CrashDumps

Thing is that even if you don't get the restart issue, PT is still crashing on quit and creating crash dumps on exit. Anyone any good at reading those may be able to isolate the issue.

This has been pretty well resolved back to the Ilok driver. It has been advised to roll back.

Uninstalled PACE iLok and tried to install a legacy version driver. Unfortunately - it won't let me, saying some bad connection with the server or something. I had to install again the latest - no "server issue" with it.
This didn't solve the problem for me.

Default PT restarts automatically after closing it

After properly closing, my Pro Tools 2019.6 with the empty session, the program starts again, restarts automatically. Fresh and clean installation of (latest) Pro Tools, latest Windows 10 (also clean, new). It's weird bug. I have everything updated, latest version. How can I resolved the problem? :/
