Default CPU Spikes when pressing the focus Button

Hi,
is it normal that you get clicks and pops (current cpu usage 21%) when you press the focus Button on a Command 8 , even when I have set the Buffer to 1024 ?

When I lover the buffer I get 9xxx errors when using the focus button.

How are your experiences ?

---
current settings:
3 Cores CPU Limit 99%
Buffer 1024
DAE Level 1
Ignore Errors disabled
Cache Size : Normal
Plugin Streaming Buffer : Level 2
Optimize for Streaming disabled.
