Weird quicktime playback issue with 002r

Hi,

Im on 10.4.3 using a 002r and PT6.9.2


Im having strange issues with quicktime using my 002r. When I open a file with internal speakers selected in my system preferences it plays back fine no problem.


When I open the same file, with digi 002r selected in the preferences, either no audio playes, or if it does play, if I move the locaor bar to a different point in the video, it will play for a further second or so, then stop.


When no audio plays, not even the 1394 LED lights up on the front of the unit.

This is most annoying, as I use qucktime a lot, and need it to play out of my 002!

Any ideas what's going on????

What version of Quicktime do you have installed? If you're not using the latest version, you may want to try updating.

You could also try trashing the Core Audio preferences files named 'com.digidesign.coreaudiomanager.plist' and 'Core Audio Manager.plist' located in your user preference folder.

Im using quicktime 7.0.4 which I believe is the latest version.

I cannot find the preference files you refer to. Where exactly would they be located?
