Look it's quite simple. If the so called sound module, does not have any input for a microphone or a ts jack for a guitar/bass/keyboard.. then it is not an AUDIO INTERFACE, and thus Avid has no obligation to fix anything because they do not consider it a compatible interface. You want a sound module that will be recognized by Pro tools, make sure it has inputs and that the asio drivers that the 3rd party has implemented is compatible with Pro tools. It doesn't take Einstein to understand that.

Apparently some others don't think it was such a good idea. It apparently has already been removed.
