Default tracks number boxes are blue on the sides

Hi.

The "boxes" where is the number of the track are blue on the sides. Why is that? And how can I take them away?

Thanks for your replies!

Hi, I really have no idea what you're talking about. Can you post a screen shot?

Sounds to me like the tracks that are under MIDI control, or HUI control ...

Is it the first 8, or 16 tracks?

It's Pro Tools way of showing you which tracks are under this control.

This probably means there is an alternate playlist on that track. You can switch to it or delete it if not in use.

I'm guessing you received this session from someone else?

Problem solved! The tracks were under MIDI control. Thank you for your help!
