Simple session 1 track 24/44.1 trying to import one 2 minute wav file and I keep getting not enough memory. Window shows only 19% of memory used..... Any ideas?

Have you tried trashing Pro Tools Preferences?

Also, how was the audio disk formatted?

Yes I have trashed prefs. The specific drive used for this project is formatted exFat for mac / pc compatibility. I've used it for over a year. Running tests says it's fine.

I asked about the disk format since I've read about some users having issues with ExFat. Haven't used it personally, so I wouldn't know.

I'll transfer all of the files to another mac only drive and see what happens. It's never been a problem before, but who knows.....
