Default Headphone jack needs replacing!!!

The headphone input on the front of the 001 was not designed correctly. The plug sticks and feels like somethings going to break half the time. I read in an earlier post that the contact points were aligned perpendicular with the plug and not parallel. There should be some sort of recall for this without voiding warranty. Has anyone checked the rest of the 1/4" i/o's?

Be careful when connecting/disconnecting a pair of phones from the 001!

The tip of my headphone jack broke off inside of the digi001. looks like you have to take everything completely loose in order to get the tip out. ray

Fortunately for me, I was able to retrieve mine via a pair of needle nose plyers.

Also, it DOES seem that they used the same jacks on all I/O. When I was setting up my studio Friday night, I had to switch my I/O around a couple of times. The plugs were VERY hard to remove. Just like on the headphone jack. I had to bend them to the right (from the end) to get them to eject with about 50% less effort. Upon brief inspection, they appear to have the same design as the jack on the front.
