Massenburg MDW 5 Short question

hi!
Can I open Sessions with automated MDW5 Plug in on systems that have only MDW3?
Does Automation transfer well down to MDW3 without problems? ("Backwards compatibility")

In general, you will find that the MDWEQ5 is not really ready for production. I would avoid it until they work out some showstopping bugs.

I still use it everyday and have just gotten used to the errors (sad, but true)

IMHO- A top of the line EQ plugin that pops when engaging and disengaging a hi pass filter and stops the transport randomly when opening the plugin is not ready for production.

Those things shouldn't happen for sure. But I'm not going to sacrifice the quality of my productions because of them when there are (admittedly annoying) workarounds.

Hi Will, what show-stopping bugs are you referring to?

Having the transport drop out of record when you open the plugin is a show stopping bug. It happens randomly at low buffer settings at 96k.
