Default Book Suggestions

Hey all,
Got a gift certificate to amazon.com from work and was looking at getting a cheap book to supplement my Pro Tools learning. Not that you guys aren't helpful just not always around the computer. I'm a newbie so nothing too fancy. Was looking at the Quickstart guide to Pro Tools 6 or Producing in the Home with Pro Tools (version 6). There are lots of others including Musicians guide to Pro Tools. Wondering what you guys would recommend. I've downloaded all the help vids off the digi site here and will of course have the manual and stuff so I won't need a glorified manual. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance,
Paul

try "Pro Tools 5.1 for Music Production" by Mike Collins.... I don't know whether a
new edition (for PT 6) of that book is out yet, but then if you're a newbie and are
lookin for a general introduction to PT, you still might find this book very good.
It's very practical with nice little pictures

Hope this helps,
have fun reading
Nad

Producing in the Home with Pro Tools (version 6). Is a GREAT book you will find it incredibly helpful. Just finished reading it last week. This is one of the few protools books that has a decent mixing section. Easy reading and to the point!
