"Bounce to" not available

I've got a fun one. I have a single MIDI track and can record to it no problem using a Motif ES and the MLan interface on it which goes directly to the computer (firewire). I can record notes and hear them through the monitors which is connected to my MBox2. So, I go to "Bounce" the track to WAV and oooops, the Bounce to is greyed out in the menu. I try highlighting the track, convert from notes to blocks or regions, nothing. What could possibly cause that?

It sounds like you haven't recorded anything to an audio track yet. you need to create an audio track and route the audio from your synth into that track, record it. MIDI is not audio. there is nothing to Bounce if all you have open in your session is one track of MIDI
