Default 5.3 Import Tracks missing audio

I'm trying to import tracks from a 5.1 session into a 5.3 session and it adds the tracks fine, but there is no audio in the tracks! I try to refer to the source, copy the audio, and consolidate and the same results. The only work around was to import the 5.3 session tracks into the existing 5.1 session, but this is a major hassle when dealing with huge sessions for post. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as usual, we're in a time crunch for mixing...thanks

Could it be that the session start times are different and your audio is being imported way down the timeline? You could check by using the relative timecode option in the dialog.

I checked down the timeline and unfortunately there is no audio anywhere to be found...

Alternately, could it be that the source session start time is much earlier than the start time of the session you're importing into? I don't have any other explanation for what you're seeing. Anyone else ever have a problem with this?
