Default Weird Time Code Bug?

I'm getting some bizzare behavior from the TC Entry windows while manually cutting an EDL.
I am cutting a best of show out of 11 existing shows, so I have placed each existing show at 0hours, 1hour, 2hours etc.. which puts my best of show at 11 hours.
The problem is, I can't seem to get ProTools to accept a time code entry after 11:25:39:06, even though it is well inside the session limit. Any number higher than 11:25:39:06 entered into the main counter, or the start/end/length counter will not work! Its stuck at 11:25:39:06!
Is this a known bug?

And just to add to it, Grid mode doesn't work after that time code either

I have seen this before. Never found a way around it either. Although thinking about it maybe it's a 12 hour (minutes seconds) not twelve hour (timecode) timeline?

I'll try it here and see if you'd like although it doesn't help with your recuts.

Sorry,

Ceri

I can get 12:45:39 when dealing with Minutes/Seconds timeline but when in Timecode:
11:59:00:00 entered =
@23.976fps is 11:24:58:03,
@24fps is 11:25:39:05,
@25fps is 11:25:39:06,
@29.97NDfps is 11:24:58:04
@30fps is 11:25:39:07

This is on 7.4.2.

Cheers Ceri, I'm PAL so the magic number is the same.
The same session won't copy and paste large chunks of volume automation (10 hours) from one track to the other, even though it is to the same time code position.
"The selected material connot be duplicated because it would result in material being pasted beyound the maximum session length"
(I'm not in shuffle mode either)
I had to do it in smaller chunks

This bug just keeps getting worse and worse!
It seems Pro Tools will park the vision at 11:25:39:06 unless you're in playback or scrub, so it won't follow selections or region slides.

Make your session start time later - this bug has been there since v7

PT hates the last 35 min of the timeline!

Cone on avid - get this gripped. I demoed this bug to your UK staff about 7 years ago!

Too bad PT doesn't have bins. Wouldn't that take care of the problem?
12-one hours shows on the same timeline?

Why can't Avid make multiple sessions within a project.... like video DAWs???

Because it still sells even without those features
