Default edit & mix windows

DEAR DIGI

for Christmas you can make me happy by answering this question of mine;

Why every time i open a session the edit and mix windows wich i had previously arranged so the top fit right under the menu bar are dropped by 1/2 inche on my screen?

Me too!! (see my earlier post). Even if I maximise the screen, hit save..It will revert
back to the edit and mix windows being dropped a half inch down. The program does not remember how you had the screens set previously.

How do we set up a repeatable template, if we have to redo the windows everytime!!!

..Sorry this has been bugging me for several months.

I believe this is a bug that Digidesign already knows about.

I'm not sure if 5.1 fixes it though.

Hello !
I've had the same thing happening when using Midi Quantize. If my Edit window is maximized and I use "Alt-0" or "Midi-operations-Quantize", my edit window resizes down to just under maximize. Not a big problem, but irritating at times when you're working with lots of tracks.
And now that I'm typing this, I'm trying to remember if this doesn't happen everytime you use an Audiosuite plug-in. I'm not in front of my PTLE PC right now, so don't quote me on this. But I'm sure as far as quantize is concerned.
Maybe there is a reason for this ("we felt it would look better that way, and you have poor taste in edit-window-resizing anyway...").

Cheers
