Import Audio Function Broken

Hi,

Could anyone advise on how to fix the import audio function in Pro Tools. It was working fine, but now in every session I open up this message appears:

Could not complete the Import Audio command because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/158347/ProTools/NewFileLibs/Cfd/MacOS/Cfd_ImportAudioDialogMacOS.mm", line 603.

Which version of Pro Tools? Mac? Which OS for Mac?

Was something installed prior to the import audio function not working?

Pro Tools 12.4
MacBook Pro (2014)
macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.1

I'm wondering if I may have installed the OS update (High Sierra) between the time of the function working and it breaking. I can't say for sure, but that is very possible.

Well, first off, Pro Tools 12.4 is not officially supported by Avid for macOS 10.13.1. Only PT 12.8.2 is.

So that could be your problem.

if everything else with PT is working than you can drag and drop audio into the tracks menu or the Edit window .. there was a version of PT that had an issue with import audio on some systems ..
