Default Stupid Question: How to swap L/R in stereo tracks?

Hi there,

I have a strong feeling that this is a stupid question but... I need to swap around L&R channels in a PT stereo track... found no way to do that.. This used to be easy when not working with stereo tracks but how is it possible to grab just one channel of a stereo track?

Please help!

2 ways what I can think of:

1) Reverse the panpots

2)Mark the stereo track that you want to do your edits on and under File use "Split selected tracks into mono", which will create 2 mono tracks where you can do the changes and them lift it back to the stereo track.

Splitting the files helped. Thanks. Switching panpots wasn't an option here.

Funny that more than 15 years later there STILL isn't a quick key or even a built in audio suite to swap the channels... when apps like sound forge has this in the 90's.

You may also want to consolidate the file afterwards, if you want to make the change permanent.

I guess it's not a top priority - sure would be nice though!

PT has been multi-mono since day one. Interleaved stereo files were introduced in PT10 if memory serves me right. Stuff like this has always been manual work, but surely I wouldn't mind a "swap L/R" feature.
