Purchased a used M-Box (without software)....
Hi.
Sorry if this has been asked before (I tried the search). I've purchased a used M-Box 2 all by itself. No software etc. I'd like to purchase PT 8 LE for it. Will this work? Or is there a step that I'm missing? The download & box version are called "upgrade versions" What if I have no previous versions? Many thanks in advance, Erik

1. PT 8 is a full install, so it would ask you to remove any previous versions anyway.

Yes, but you will need a compatible Digi interface to run it.

Thanks a lot.
BTW.... Is it just me or is it impossible to contact Digidesign? Do they not have email support at least? The hold the the record for being put on hold..... so to speak. As a side, I notice this on their upgrade page: "All paid upgrades are full installers that do not require previous purchase or installation of Pro Tools software. To upgrade from a previous version of Pro Tools, it is only necessary to purchase the most recent upgrade"
