Open the standalone version of Plogue, and in preferences->rewire make sure the "enable rewire mixer" box is checked. You can also set the number of available audio channels and rewire midi ports here.

If a MIDI event triggers a sample of a tree falling and there's no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?

Do you have any other rewire apps like Reason, Reaper, sibelius etc? Do they show up in the instrument list? I remember running into this problem a few years ago, but I can't remember what the cause of it was. Make sure you fully quit plogue bidule standalone before launching pro tools.

Turn off the "Run in 32bit" that's now default.
App>get info>Uncheck the tick-box.

Did all the above already before posting this question...

Finally found the problem...it's PT related.

Anyways...BIG thank you to Seb at Plogue...here's the solution just in case anyone comes across this issue:

<<I figured out the issue, this is a major bug with Pro Tools 11. ReWire devices are only scanned when the DigiReWire plugin is scanned (which typically happens when running a new Pro Tools version). Any ReWire device installed after that scan will never show up in Pro Tools 11 until a new plugin scan occurs.

On OS X this can be forced by manually deleting the file name InstalledAAXPlugIns
in <your user>/Library/Preferences/Avid/Pro Tools >>
