iLok required to authorize Pro Tools HD 7 softwar
Got this from the press release section:
Customers may order either Pro Tools 7 Upgrade PLUS option online through the DigiStore or visit a local Authorized Digidesign Reseller. The Upgrade PLUS packages available at dealer locations include installation discs and full documentation — at no extra charge. An iLok USB Smart Key (sold separately) and Internet access are required to authorize Pro Tools HD 7 software as well as the plug-ins for both Pro Tools HD 7 Upgrade PLUS and Pro Tools LE 7 Upgrade PLUS options. For more information about iLok, visit www.ilok.com. Dors this mean a possibilty to run PT without hardware? Nah.......
