wireless keyboard problem?
I recently got a Logitech wireless kybd and mouse. Now when I'm in Pro Tools (I have a 0001), the spacebar will start and stop the song a couple of times, then the next time I hit the space bar, both the 'stop' and 'play' icons on the transport window turn blue and nothing else happens. At this point, if I try to left-click on the 'play' icon, it switches from the regular icon to the loop icon (as if I'd right-clicked - I think).
Disabling the special Logitech software doesn't seem to do anything. Any help? (And does the simultaneous lighting of the 'stop' and 'play' indicate some mode in Pro Tools I'm not aware of?) Thanks, GL [email protected] |

Re: wireless keyboard problem?
I've had a similar problem (using a wired keyboard) once my track count starts getting high. Seems like the keyboard buffer is getting choked up. I've witnessed something like that on a TDM system.
If it's the same problem I experienced, I found that move the cursor a little bit in either direction cleared it up -- temporarily. Stu www.angryfolk.com
