PT-6.0: How to change instrument for click in Quicktime?
I went to one of the Digi conferences recently, and I could swear that the choice of different click sounds was a new feature in PT-6.0. Does anyone know where this is, or what I was seeing?
Thanks, Patrick

Hello. It's a DigiRack Plug In, so it should show up on your lists of plug ins. I'm pretty sure it's RTAS and TDM and it has different sounds to choose from as clicks.

My question is: How do you import & convert your own click sounds into the Plug-In Settings for the click Plug-In? I've found most of the drummers I track with need stronger, cutting click sounds. Please let me know. Thanks.

you can't import sounds into the Digirack click.
to my knowledge the only plugin that will do this under protools 6 is Metro. http://www.tllabs.com/metro.htm |

The click plug in is great. If it isn't cutting, why not use an eq plug after the click to shape it ?
