I get that impression too. I was hoping it was just me. Lol.

Useless company… honestly… useless!

This is especially true considering how he recently made a Facebook remark that Raven 2.0 would be out this Friday, and then the line went dead with no release.

Default Massey and Slate

At this point I would even take a buggy alpha version of VCC. Just to see it's being worked in lol. And in all honesty if waves would have put their nls on sale this weekend I probably would have bought it and sold my VCC license. I already like Kramer tape as much as VTM. And this coming from someone who sold all their waves plugs a while back due to their WUP. And the fact I had a bunch of them I didn't use. But they've slowly gotten me back with their sales. And at least they work in pt11.

You know what the word "indicate" means, right?

Code:
in·di·cate
1. point out; show.
2. suggest as a desirable or necessary course of action.
Some of us actually pay attention to the words we use. :)

Slate has said that his personal preference is to bundle VCC as part of VMR. He's said a few times how much more difficult it would be to code it standalone, and that doing so would delay its release even further. At one point he was talking about putting it up to a vote, but I haven't heard anything about that in a while. Read the whole thread I linked if you have an hour to kill.

I'm pretty sure Shane was making light of the situation.....and I'm pretty sure he know what indicate is as well.

I am even positive he know what the word sarcasm means

most pf Slates plug-ins have been in public beta for months - he is focusing on hardware as that is were the money is at these days. Adding features (Raven 2.0) that should be Pro tools is smart.

Perhaps there is reason to focus on hardware for theoretical profit potential, but reputation regarding customer support should also be a consideration. Finding a good balance between the two is not often as simple as it might seem.
