Default Projectmix I/O control (mod wheel, pitch bend, etc)

Has anybody gotten the projectmix I/O to act as a MIDI controller? I have installed the control software but I have been unable to figure out how to get PT to let me change what the controls do. The faders just control volume, but I'd love to be able to get them to do other things and I can't seem find any online resources to point me in the right direction.

I just want to assign one of the faders to act as a pitch bend because my main keyboard controller doesn't have a wheel. any ideas?
